Olivia swimming

Ooops, so I forgot to post the pictures of Olivia swimming! You can just see the excitement in her face, can't you?!?!?!?

Swimming!!!

In the last few weeks Noah has become more and more brave about swimming on his own (with his life jacket!) It is so much fun to watch him swim and see the proud look on his face as he exclaims "I'm like a fish", "I'm swimming!" Noah has the kicking part down of swimming, but has not quite coordinated that he needs to move his arms as well to help keep him afloat. Olivia also decided to give swimming with a life jacket a shot. She's not so sure she's ready yet. We have really enjoyed the summer and swimming and all of this nice weather, and hope for more!

Livvy girl

Olivia has several nicknames, Livvy, Liv, Livvy girl, bulldozer, and tornado. The latter two, because she is constantly bulldozing through everything and tornado, well, because our house is a tornado after she is done with it. There are so many names we can give to her with her many different personalities. She is such a character and constantly coming up with crazy things to do. These pictures were taken about a month ago. We have been putting Olivia in a onesie at night, so that she does not take off her diaper, but when she has a onesie on, it is a great place to stuff her shirt! She continues to want to fill her shirt with toys, food, really anything she can get in there.

My "pizza" tower

Noah has just watched for the first time Little Einsteins. He is totally in to it, but we only have one DVD of a few episodes. One of the episodes there is the leaning tower of pisa, which to Noah (and I am sure many other kids) the tower of pizza. This morning Noah was building with his legos and said "look Mommy, I built a tower of pizza!!" I just thought it was too cute!

4th of July

For the 4th of July weekend, we went up to our cabin on Camano Island. During the day on the 4th, the neighborhood put on a little parade for families. Everyone dressed in red, white and blue, and decorated bikes and wagons! The day ended with some amazing fireworks, all over the island. Noah was not so sure at first what he thought of the loud sounds, but liked staying up late and watching the "big fireworks". We had such a great time celebrating with friends and family and enjoyed our time together!
